Research Interest - Temas de interes
| Over the last years, I have been interested in population genetics and molecular cytogenetics of salmonids and marine species in general .My PhD involved the learning and application of classical populations analysis techniques such as starch gel electrophoresis and classical cytogenetics to the study of salmonid populations. I also have much experience in molecular genetics, including hypervariable single locus minisatellite genotyping, mitochondrial DNA RFLP analysis, PCR amplification, DNA cloning, sequencing, genomic library construction, microsatellites isolation (di, tri, tetra) and molecular cytogenetic techniques such as fluorescent in situ hibridization (FISH) to metaphase chromosomes. |
